Please remember: The church will be closed next week, from Monday, May 19, until Saturday, May 24. The parish office will be open as usual, but the church will be closed. There will not be any masses or activities in the church during that week. The Capuchins, including Father Charles, and Father Christopher will be in Kansas for meetings. The floor in the church will be refurbished. The regular schedule will resume on Saturday, May 24.

Next weekend is Called By Name Sunday, an initiative to honor faithful young men who may be open to the priesthood or religious life.  Next Sunday, the archbishop is inviting all parishioners to submit names of young men who exhibit leadership and a heart for service as Capuchin priests and religious or as diocesan priests.

If you are interested in being trained as a Eucharistic Minister, please sign the sheet on the table in back of the church. A training session for new Eucharistic Ministers will be held on Friday, May 23.

Por favor, recuerde: La iglesia estará cerrada la próxima semana, desde el lunes 19 de mayo hasta el sábado 24 de mayo. La oficina parroquial estará abierta como de costumbre, pero la iglesia estará cerrada. No habrá misas ni actividades en la iglesia durante esa semana. Los Capuchinos, incluyendo al Padre Carlos, y el Padre Cristobal estarán en Kansas en reuniones. Se renovará el suelo de la iglesia. El horario regular se reanudará el sábado 24 de mayo.

El próximo fin de semana se celebra el Domingo de la “Llamada por Nombre”, una iniciativa para honrar a los jóvenes fieles que estén abiertos al sacerdocio o a la vida religiosa. El próximo domingo, el arzobispo invita a todos los feligreses a enviar los nombres de jóvenes que demuestren liderazgo y un gran espíritu de servicio como sacerdotes y religiosos capuchinos o como sacerdotes diocesanos.

Si les interesa capacitarse como Ministros de la Eucaristía, por favor firme la hoja que está en la mesa al fondo de la iglesia. El viernes 23 de mayo se llevará a cabo una sesión de capacitación para nuevos Ministros de la Eucaristía.
