WHAT IS CONFIRMATION?
Confirmation is a sacrament where the believer receives the Holy Spirit, and the priest anoints them with oil. The believer does not have to work to get the Holy Spirit, but it is a gift from God to have a relationship with him.

WHO IS THE HOLY SPIRIT?
According to the bible the Holy Spirit is the The spirit of God. We can see this in (Genesis 1:2): “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters”
THREE PERSONS IN ONE
The bible charactarizes the Holy Spirit as the third person with emotions and can be grieved. According to the bible (Ephesians 4:4-6) ” There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all”.
“Now when the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent them Peter and John, who came down and prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit. For He had not yet fallen upon any of them; they had simply been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then they began laying their hands on them, and they were receiving the Holy Spirit. Acts 8:14-17

La biblia dice el Espíritu Santo es el El espíritu de Dios. Podemos ver esto en (Génesis 1:2): “En el principio creó Dios los cielos y la tierra. Y la tierra estaba desordenada y vacía, las tinieblas cubrían la faz del abismo, y el Espíritu de Dios se movía sobre el aguas”

Según la biblia (Efesios 4:4-6) “Hay un solo cuerpo y un solo Espíritu, así como fuisteis llamados a una misma esperanza cuando fuisteis llamados; un solo Señor, una sola fe, un solo bautismo; un solo Dios y Padre de todos, que está sobre todos y por todos y en todos”.
“Y los apóstoles que estaban en Jerusalem, habiendo oído que Samaria había recibido la palabra de Dios, les enviaron á Pedro y á Juan: Los cuales venidos, oraron por ellos, para que recibiesen el Espíritu Santo;(Porque aun no había descendido sobre ninguno de ellos, mas solamente eran bautizados en el nombre de Jesús.)
